Over fifty years ago, a little known New Zealand Housewife called Beryl decided there just had to be a safer way for infants and toddlers to sleep soundly in a cot and for the child to know, that once put down to bed, it is time to go to sleep. So she invented what she called a 'sleep-harness' - which she used with great success as she brought up her three children. |

About a decade later, her younger sister Colleen, inspired by her sister's success at teaching infants great sleep habits, copied the very sensible idea, adding improvements to the design, which she used with great success as she brought up her three children. Then over thirty years later, Colleen's daughter, Kathy, took on board her Mum's recommendation by embracing the logical old-fashioned wisdom, with further improving and moderising on it. She has now been extremely successful in bringing up three brilliantly sleeping children - and through the years of use, the design is now truly 'perfected'. Over time, Kathy gave girlfriends a 'sleep-secure' as gifts, and they too found it wonderful! |

Then finally due to demand, this superb babe-sleeper is now available to all parents. Since then, Kathy has become recognised for her understanding of infant sleep, and has also published the extensively researched book “OH BABY…Babies, Birth & Motherhood Uncensored” which is being noted as probably the best NZ guidebook ever written for pregnant mothers-to-be. |
